Established in 1985 and formally located in New York City's World Trade Center, On-Location Models aka "OLM" specialized in representing women-of-color. Back then, it was not easy for black models to get in with modeling agencies ... let alone to REALLY get work as other models could. 27 years later, OLM still specializes in representing "chocolate" models although we are increasing our diversity of models. Educating our models about this business of modeling is paramount to us. The more educated a model is about this business, the better the model can function in this business. Such a model would be proficient about how this modeling industry truly operates. Thus, that model can avoid certain pit falls. In short, we owe our continued success to GOD. Without God, nothing can occur under the sun. We've been blessed to see 27 years of business and are looking forward to even more years in the business. Currently, we at On-Location Models have started a new project. This project is to make our presence known in several major cities in the U.S. by getting our models bookings in the very cities where they reside and to let it be known that On-Location Models is responsible for getting its' models work in those cities. Within 1 year of doing this, we calculate that when local businesses in those cities want to hire black models for print work, fashion shows, fur shows, catalog work, flyers for nightclubs, beer posters, hair magazines, calendars, etc. ... the first company they contact would be On-Location Models.
